The Village of Netravali has a unique bubbling pond, wherein bubbles appear in rhythmic fashion, though the locals have their own myths around this queer phenomenon, scientists blame it on the gasses which are periodically released in the water.

Something Unique
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful Our college had organised a picnic in Mollem. So first we visited the small village of Netravali in Sanguem Taluka. Over there we had gone to see the bubbles pond. In konkani it is called "Budbudyanchi Tali". It’s a very clean water pond with lots of greenery around it.We were told that bubbles come from the pond when someone claps. So every one was clapping and to our surprise a lot of bubbles could actually be seen. It was really amazing. I had never witnessed such a thing before. Though we had tried to inquire why this happens ,there wasn’t anyone there to give us that explanation but we all had good fun. The only issue was the steps to go down in the pond were not proper.
